I obtained my Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Maryland University College in May 2006. I also graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park in May 2002 with a Bachelor's Degree in Physics and a Bachelor's Degree in Astronomy. My experience, however, lends itself to information technology, specifically IT support, management, and security. For the past several years I have worked primarily in the fields of desktop and systems support and administration, networking, and IT consulting, aiding clients with use of specialized enterprise architecture, applications, and systems. Some of those areas include shell accounts and mail systems running in a UNIX environment, large-scale databases, cross-platform wired and wireless networking on both large and small scales, and enterprise email and calendaring systems, LAN/WAN support, and multiplatform support on a large-scale Novell Network.

My interests in the field of Information Technology are varied, but I believe that they all tie together neatly with my skillset and experience. I am primarily interested in:

I like to consider myself a hard-working, creative, and talented individual with a penchant for picking up new skills and techniques quickly, as well as being able to retain and apply old skills effectively. I consider myself as a problem-solver, excellent at finding new solutions and approaches to difficult problems, skills I learned both in my work experience and in my education. Furthermore, I am keen to opportunities for change and improvement, and enjoy working with coworkers to streamline an organization or implement new ideas.
